RESOLUTION NO. 9715
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AMENDING SECTION 6 OF THE AGREEMENT FOR
THE ABATEMENT OF WEEDS BY THE COUNTY OF
SANTA CLARA FOR THE CITY OF CAMPBELL.
WHEARAS, on May 10, 1976, the Agreement for the Abatement of Weeds by the County
of Santa Clara for the City of Campbell was implemented; and
WHEREAS, said Agreement was subsequently amended on May 18, 1981, February 15,
1983, November 4, 1996, September 1, 1998 and on October 19, 1999; and
WHEREAS, Section 6 of the County Agreement with the City of Campbell references a
County administrative program fee; and
WHEREAS, The County of Santa Clara is proposing to increase the administrative
program fee from 140% to 150% in order to continue the program.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL YED by the City Council of the City of Campbell,
that an increase to 150% in the administrative program fee is hereby approved. Said
administrative program fee to be added to the charges to land owners for work performed by the
County Contractor commencing with the 2000/2001 Weed Abatement Season.
