RESOLUTION NO. 9711
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CAMPBELL MODIFYING THE FY 00/01 SCHEDULE OF
USER FEES AND CHARGES
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell Financial Policies require an annual
evaluation of the Schedule of Fees and Charges to ensure that recovery of the cost of providing
services is recovered where appropriate; and
WHEREAS, there has been presented and approved by the City Council of the
City of Campbell a Schedule of User Fees and Charges for Fiscal Year 00/01 at the June 61\
2000 meeting; and
WHEREAS, minor corrections are necessary to the Recreation and Community
Services and Public Works sections of the Fee Schedule; and
WHEREAS, all of the required legal notices have been published pursuant to
Government Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby adopts the
attached corrections to the Schedule of Fees and Charges to be paid to the City of Campbell
effective August 71\ 2000; and
WHEREAS, upon completion of the meet and confer process for affected
Public Works positions, staff will update page 5 of 5 of the Public Works Fees to reflect the FY
00/01 salary, benefit, and overtime rates to be used when charging for Public Works services
rendered;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be made an addendum to
the City Council Policy Manual.

3. Deposits may be fully or partially withheld for any of the
following reasons:
a) Facility uses fees for time used in excess of that reserved.
b) Damage to facility or equipment.
c) Misuse of the Community Center (Refer to Item F-3 in
Section V).
d) Inadequate clean-up by permittee, requiring additional
custodial time/services after your use.
4. If additional fees due exceed the amount of deposit, permittee will
be billed for the balance.
5. Deposits, less any applicable additional charges, will be
processed through the City's Finance Department, approved by
the City Council, and returned to the permitted by mail within 30
days of the date of their event.
6. It is the permittee's responsibility to keep the Campbell
Community Center office staff informed of any address or
telephone changes.

P. FACILITY USE WAIVER
Use of the facility for any purpose other than those specified in this Facility Use
Policy must be petitioned through written request to the Museum
Director/Historical Resources Supervisor. Such requests must outline intended
modifications or changes in detail demonstrating compliance with rules,
regulations and policy as stated above. Petitions for such FACILITY USE
WAIVER are subject to review by the Campbell City Council. The City
Council shall have the final authority to waive or modify rules or regulations.
Any and all requests/variances are considered individually, and are not
automatically applied as a matter of precedent to future similar uses.

Group 3 Private meetings, groups and parties such as wedding
receptions, anniversary parties, or other social, recreational,
or cultural activities for which there are no entry fees for
participation or attendance, as well as fund-raisers sponsored
by non-profit organizations. (See Fees Listed Below)
Group 4 Meetings, seminars, parties, auctions or other events in which
an entry fee is collected/charged or funds are raised by or for
business or commercial purposes. (See Fees Listed Below)
To qualify for resident rates you must provide proof of
residency by showing two of the following:
a) A valid California Drivers License;
b) Name and Address Imprinted on Personal or Business Check;
c) Recent Utility Bill with your name on it.

U. Administrative Review Fee would cover the costs associated with the
application review and follow up with the applicant on required materials (eg.:
insurance, liquor license, security, etc.) and preparation of related report
materials.
V. Application Processing Fee would cover all costs associated with routing the
application to appropriate departments, scheduling the event, duplicating and
mailing expenses.
W. Campbell Resident Organization one in which the majority of members reside
in the Campbell City Limits (51 %) or which uses Campbell as its central
operating base.
X. Special Event Permit Fee - Alcohol Serviced would cover the costs associated
with the day(s) of the event (eg.: trash pick up, barricade installation/removal,
utilities coordination, minimal security).
Y. Street Closure Fee would cover the cost of Police and Public Works personnel
associated with closing the streets.
