CC Resolution 9704 RESOLUTION NO. 9704 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR PROJECT 01-72 ANNUAL SIDEWALK MAINTENANCE, PROJECT 96-09 ACCESSIBILITY RAMPS AND PROJECT 96-10 SIDEWALK INFILL PROGRAM TO JJR CONSTRUCTION, INC., ENCUMBERING $42,945.00 AS A 10 % CONTINGENCY AND AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT WHEREAS, bids were received for construction of Project 01-72, Annual Sidewalk Maintenance, Project 96-09 Accessibility Ramps and Project 96-10 Sidewalk Intill Program, on June 28, 2000; and WHEREAS, JJR Construction, Inc. has been found to be the lowest responsible bidder with a total bid of $429,450.00; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell that the construction contract for the aforementioned projects be awarded to JJR Construction, Inc., in the amount of $429,450.00, and that $42,945.00 be encumbered as a 10 % contingency for a total amount of $472,395, and that the Public Works Director is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with JJR, Construction, Inc.
