10 Alice Ave. (1976)INTER-DEPARTMENTAL MEMORANDUM TO: FROM: Building Department Public Works Department The requirements of the Public Works Department have been satisfied for the following development: APPLICANT ~(~ BUILDING ADDR~,SS ~O COUNTY ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBER -a~ APPROVAL NUMBER PUBLIC WORKS FILE NUMBER JOSEPH ELLIOTT DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS By Date Honorable City Council April 20, 1976 Traffic E~gi~eer Parkillg Restrictions, Winchester Boulevard and Alice Avenue U.P. 76-4 The staff has reviewed the potential intersection sight restrictions which could occur if unrestricted curbside parking were allowed at the above intersection subsequent to the development allowed by U.P. 76-4. The sight restrictions .eg~u~ld be avoided by prohibiting curbside parking, on both the"Alice AVenue Frontage and to a point approximately 40 feet south of the curb return on winchester Boulevard. The applicant indicates that he would have no objection to this parking prohibition. The alleyway adjacent to the development is not a public thoroughfare; and, therefore, a "no parking" sign installa- tion by the City would not be appropriate in the staff's opinion.
