RESOLUTION NO. 10835
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AMENDING THE COMPENSATION OF THE CITY ATTORNEY
WHEREAS, the City Council is authorized to establish the compensation of the City
Attorney;
WHEREAS, the City Attorney's compensation was last amended on November 7,2006
by Resolution Number 10702;
WHEREAS, the City Attorney's monthly retainer has been based on an estimate of
seventy-five (75) hours per month of non-litigation services;
WHEREAS, the City Attorney's actual performance of non-litigation services has
regularly exceeded seventy-five (75) hours per month;
WHEREAS, the Council finds that approximately eighty-two (82) hours per month of
non-litigation services are necessary and desirable; and
WHEREAS, the City Council also finds that an increase in the City Attorney's monthly
retainer is warranted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell,
pursuant to Section 7 of the Amended Agreement for Services of City Attorney, that the
City Attorney's compensation shall be as follows for services invoiced on or after
November 1, 2007:
