RESOLUTION NO. 10838
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO NEGOTIATE AND
EXECUTE A CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH
BOTTOMLEY DESIGN AND PLANNING FOR THE
WINCHESTER BOULEVARD MASTER PLAN AND APPROVING A BUDGET
ADJUSTMENT
WHEREAS, a Master Plan of Winchester Boulevard is needed to determine how
the public improvements on Winchester Boulevard could seamlessly be integrated with
proposed private development standards; and
WHEREAS, an extensive Request for Proposal (RFP) process was conducted in
conjunction with the East Campbell Avenue Master Plan Project; and
WHEREAS, Korve Engineering, in partnership with Bottomley Design and
Planning, was found to be the best candidate for completion of the design services for
the East Campbell Avenue Master Plan Project and successfully completed the East
Campbell Avenue Master Plan; and
WHEREAS, based on the successful completion of the East Campbell Avenue
Master Plan Project, it has been determined that Bottomley Design and Planning have
a unique understanding of the Campbell community and is therefore determined to be
the most qualified to complete the Winchester Boulevard Master Plan; and
WHEREAS, a budget adjustment has been prepared to provide funding for the
Winchester Master Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby authorizes the Public Works Director to negotiate and execute a
Consultant Services Agreement with Bottomley Design and Planning for master
planning services for the Winchester Boulevard Master Plan in an amount not to
exceed $40,000 and approves the attached budget adjustment.
