PC Res 3311RESOLUTION NO. 3311
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN
UPDATE TO THE CAMPBELL GENERAL PLAN (LAND USE,
CIRCULATION, NOISE, OPEN SPACE, CONSERVATION AND
SAFETY ELEMENTS) (PLN2000-150) AND THE GRANTING A
NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR SAID GENERAL PLAN UPDATE.
CITY INITIATED APPLICATION.
After notification and public hearing, as specified by law, and after presentation by the Community
Development Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission finds as follows with
regard to File No. PLN2000-150.
1. An Initial Study was prepared pursuant to the requirements of the California Environmental
Quality Act on September 21, 2000.
Notice of availability of the Initial Study was prepared and published pursuant to Section 21092 of
the Public Resources Code, advising the public that a public review period would be available and
public comment would be accepted on this project.
3. The Initial Study concludes that the proposed General Plan Update is less intense than the existing
General Plan and that there will be no significant environmental impacts.
The proposed Amendments of the General Plan Land Use, Transportation, Open Space, Noise,
Conservation, Safety and Public Facilities Elements, including the text and maps are consistent
with the General Plan.
Based upon the foregoing findings of fact, the Planning Commission further finds and concludes that:
1. No substantial evidence has been presented which shows that the project, as currently presented,
would have a significant effect upon the environment
