RESOLUTION NO. 3837
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF A ZONING
CLASSIFICATION CHANGE (PLN2007-65) FROM R-D-S (TWO FAMILY
DISTRICT) TO P-D (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT) ON PROPERTY
OWNED BY MR. DENNIS L1U LOCATED AT 1161 VIRIGINA AVENUE
IN AN R-2-S (TWO FAMILY DISTRICT) ZONING DISTRICT.
APPLICATION OF MR. DENNIS L1U. FILE NO. PLN2007-65.
After notification and public hearing, as specified by law and after presentation by the
Community Development Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission did find as
follows with respect to PLN2007 -65:
1. Under the R-D-S zoning designation, this project could not be constructed on the
project site as the development standards could not be met (i.e. 45 FAR).
Based upon the foregoing findings of fact, the Planning Commission further finds and
concludes that:
1. The proposed development and uses will not clearly result in a more desirable
environment and use of the land than would be possible under any other zoning
classification.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission recommends
denial of a Zoning Classification Change (PLN2007-65) from R-D-S (Two Family District)
to P-D (Planned Development) on property owned by Mr. Dennis Liu located at 1161
Virginia Avenue in an R-D-S (Two Family District) Zoning District.
