RESOLUTION NO. 10846
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO NEGOTIATE AN AMENDMENT
TO CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH BEVERLY PRIOR ARCHITECTS
FOR PHASE II DESIGN SERVICES - ORCHARD CITY BANQUET HALL
RENOVATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director was authorized to execute an agreement
with Beverly Prior Architects for preparation of a feasibility study for the Orchard City
Banquet Hall Renovation Project on June 5, 2007, and
WHEREAS, the agreement was executed and the results of the feasibility study
were presented to City Council at the November 20,2007 City Council Study Session,
and
WHEREAS, Council desires to proceed into Phase II, schematic design, for the
base Orchard City Banquet Hall Renovation Project and the renovation of Buildings D
and E, and
WHEREAS, Beverly Prior Architects have performed exceptionally during the
feasibility study and have unique and specific knowledge that is needed to proceed into
schematic design, and
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that the Phase II schematic design will not exceed
$100,000, and
WHEREAS, the current project budget is sufficient to provide the funding
required,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby authorizes the Public Works Director to negotiate and execute an
amendment to the Consultant Services Agreement with Beverly Prior Architects for
Phase II design services for the Orchard City Banquet Hall Renovation Project 01-27 in
an amount not to exceed $100,000.
