RESOLUTION NO. 10864
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMPBELL COMMENDING AGENT SALVADOR L. QUEZADA
ON HIS 23 YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
WHEREAS, Agent Salvador L. Quezada's career with the City of Campbell began as a Police
Officer in August 1985; and
WHEREAS, Agent Quezada was promoted to Agent in June 1997; and
WHEREAS, Agent Quezada has worked in Traffic for a good part of his career as both an Officer
and an Agent; and
WHEREAS, Agent Quezada has served in many special assignments including the Off-Road
Motorcycle Team, as the Lead Range Master, a member of the Hostage Negotiation, Crime Scene
Response, and Major Accident Investigation Teams, as a Field Training Officer, on the Bike Patrol and
Honor Guard, has been a back-up temporary Public Safety Dispatcher, and as the Court Liaison; and
WHEREAS, Agent Quezada has served as the Special Events Coordinator where he worked
closely with other City departments, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Downtown Business
Association, where he has had excellent rapport with all the community groups with a focus on making
every special event safe and fun for all who attend; and
WHEREAS, Agent Quezada has honorably served as a member of the "EI Protector" program,
which is a Hispanic outreach program that helps educate the Hispanic community about law
enforcement and its practices; and
WHEREAS, Agent Quezada has always had a commitment to providing excellent service to the
Campbell community; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell recognizes
and commends Agent Salvador L. Quezada on his retirement from the City of Campbell after 23 years
of service.
