RESOLUTION NO. 10870
AUTHORIZATION FOR PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE COST SHARING AGREEMENT
FOR REPLACING STUCCO WALL AND MURAL AT SAN TOMAS EXPRESSWAY AND CAMPBELL
AVENUE IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $12,200.
WHEREAS, the City Council approved the installation of a mural in 1998; and
WHEREAS, the existing stucco wall is in a dilapidated condition; and
WHEREAS, the dilapidated stucco wall cannot be replaced without damaging the existing
mural; and
WHEREAS, a replacement stucco wall with improved design would be installed; and
WHEREAS, the original mural artist is interested in painting a new mural on the replacement
wall; and
WHEREAS, funds from Bicycle, Pedestrian and Traffic Safety Project 05-06 have been
identified to fund the cost of the replacement wall;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby
authorizes Public Works Director to execute a cost sharing agreement with the adjacent property owner
for replacing the stucco wall and mural at San Tomas Expressway and Campbell Avenue in an amount
not to exceed $12,200.
