RESOLUTION NO. 10876
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL CONGRATULATING
CARL SAN MIGUEL, 2007 CITIZEN OF THE YEAR
WHEREAS, Carl San Miguel has been selected by the Campbell Chamber of
Commerce as 2007 Citizen of the Year in recognition of many years of volunteer
service to the Campbell community; and
WHEREAS, Carl San Miguel will be honored at the annual "Citizen of the Year"
celebration on March 29,2008; and
WHEREAS, Carl San Miguel has served as President of the Campbell Chamber of
Commerce for the past four years; and
WHEREAS, Carl San Miguel has actively supported many community projects including
the Carol of Lights, the Campbell Toy Program, the Downtown Campbell Business
Association and the Campbell Museum; and
WHEREAS, Carl Sun Miguel operates his real estate business in Campbell and has
been active in the San Jose Realty Board and served as its President in 2000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
congratulates Carl San Miguel on being named Campbell's 2007 Citizen of the Year
and recognizes his service to the Campbell community and continued involvement in
community and civic affairs.
