RESOLUTION NO. 10877
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMPBELL CONGRATULATING BLENDZ
ON BEING SELECTED "2007 BUSINESS OF THE YEAR"
WHEREAS, Blendz was selected by the Campbell Chamber of Commerce as "2007
Business of the Year" and will be honored at the Chamber's annual Business of the
Year celebration on March 29,2008; and
WHEREAS, Blendz began operating at its Campbell location five years ago and has
grown to a total of 15 stores located in Campbell and Arizona; and
WHEREAS, Blendz was selected as Business of the Year for its support of many
Campbell activities, and in particular, the Cancer Society's "Relay for Life Event" held
annually at the Campbell Community Center; and
WHEREAS, Blendz' President and CEO, Matt Phipps, is a member of the Campbell
Chamber of Commerce and currently serves as a Board Member.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Campbell City Council congratulates
Blendz, owned by Matt Phipps, on being selected "2007 Business of the Year" and
recognizes the many contributions Blendz has made to the Campbell community.
