RE: PROPOSED IMP~OVEMBNTS AT SOUTHWEST CQRNER SOUTH BASCOM
AVENUE AT APRICOT AVENUE.
Dear Mr. Clegg:
we have reviewed your improvement plans of subject site and
we make the following comments:
1. We must have verification, in writing, from Pacific Gas
and Electric Company, Pacific Telephone and Telegraph,
San Jose water Works, and from Sanitation District No. 4
of Santa Clara County that they have reviewed your plans
and that all fees and/or requirements of theirs have been
complied with.
2. Please submit a Preliminary Title Report of subject
property together with any subsequent transaction
affecting subject property.
3. Please revise your plans as indicated in red on the
accomp.~ying .et of check prints.
(a) Please make a ten-foot transition at northwest
corner of property from a twenty-foot curb line offset
to a fourteen-foot curb line offset.
(b) Install a three-inch galvanized pipe from catch
basin under sidewalk to inlot to provide for inlot
catch basin.
(c) Install new "Stop" sign at location shown on plans.
(d) Revise your structural section for Apricot Avenue
to include two and one-half inches of asphaltic concrete
on ei~ht inches of Class 2 Aggregate Base.
(e) The catch basin proposed shall be City of Campbell
standard Type II Drop Inlet and the lateral shall be
twelve-inch re-inforced concrete pipe ASTM C-76 Class V.

We have established a bench mark at South Bascom Avenue
opposite Apricot Avenue "Letter 'W" on top of catch basin on
east side South Bascom Avenue opposite Apricot Avenue, elevation
193.48", and we have determined its elevation to be 193.48 based
on USC & GS bench mark U-176 located on SW winqwall of bridge over
Los Gatos Creek at campbell Avenue. Please show your elevation of
this bench mark so that the difference in datums can be determined.
