RDA RESOLUTION 2008-4
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY BOARD
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL TO APPROVE THE ALLOCATION OF $135,000 IN
REDEVELOPMENT HOUSING FUNDS AND THE ALLOCATION OF $100,000 FROM
THE CITY'S HCD'S HOUSING REHABILITATION LOAN BANK ACCOUNT &
APPROVE A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council/Redevelopment Agency Board had previously approved
$500,000 in Redevelopment Housing funds for the purchase of a single family home at
88 Llewellyn for five very low income seniors; and
WHEREAS, there continues to be a tremendous need for affordable housing for seniors
so that they may live independently and safely, and
WHEREAS, the home was purchased and bids secured for rehabilitation; and
WHEREAS, other sources of funds were secured for acquisition and rehabilitation, but
are not sufficient to cover all the rehabilitation costs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council/Redevelopment Agency
Board do hereby authorize a Budget Adjustment and the allocation of $135,000 in
Redevelopment Housing funds and $100,000 in CDBG funds for the rehabilitation of
88 Llewellyn.

REASON FOR REQUEST - BE SPECIFIC:
On March 18,2008, City Council/RDA Agency Board made funding recommendations totaling $235,000. $135,00 from Redevelopment
to be transferred to CDBG and $100,000 from the City's Rehabilitation Loan Account for senior group home.
