CC Resolution 10894 RESOLUTION NO. 10894 BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL ADOPTING ADMINISTRATIVE FINDINGS IN SUPPORT OF GRANTING AN AUCTION PERMIT WHEREAS, the City Council finds as follows with respect to the application of Kingston Auctions for an auction permit: 1. The applicant has applied for rental of the Orchard City Hall on May 17, 2008 for the purpose of hosting an auction; 2. The applicant will begin setting up for the auction at 8:00 a.m. and the auction will be completed by 4:00 p.m.; 3. Clean-up should be completed by 9:00 p.m.; 4. The applicant anticipates that there will be from 40 to 50 people attending the auction at any time; 5. The event will be advertised by sending out flyers to previous customers and possibly on local radio and news stations; 6. The applicant conducted an auction at the Community Center in 2007 without any known problems; 7. The applicant is a State licensed auction house, which has been in business for sixteen (16) years. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, based on the foregoing findings that the City Council further finds and concludes that the activity applied for and the location thereof is not likely to create a public nuisance.
