In reply to your letter of June 18, 1971, please be
advised that the City Engineer and I have checked
the property at 1627 South Bascom Avenue and have
agreed to~mporary overhead utility service.
This letter will serve as your official waiver of under-
ground utilities at this time, subject to the following
condition:
Underground utility service, as required by
Section 9110.6 of the Campbell Municipal
Code, to be provided at such time as the
remaining portion of South Bascom Avenue between
Hamilton and Campbell Avenues is undergrounded.

Section 9316.1 of the Campbell Municipal Code reads as follows:
Any approval granted under this scctioll shall expire one year after
the date upon which such app~oval was gr2nted, unless an extension
for such approval is obtained by making written application for same
to the Planlling Commission at least fifteen (15) days prior to the
expiration date of such approval.
No building permit shall he issued after the expiration date of any
approval until a new approval has been obtained in the manner provided
for in this Chapter.

1. Property to be fenced and landscaped as indicated on plans.
2. Landscape plan indicating type of plant material, location
of "hose bibs or sprinkler system and type of fencing to be
submitted for approval of the Planning Director at time of
application for building permit'.
3. Faithful performance bond in the amount of $ltOOO to be posted
to insure landscaping, fencing and striping of parking area
within three (3) months of completion of construction, or
applicant may file written agreement to complete landscaping,
fencing and striping of parking area prior to final building
department clearance.
4. Landscaping shall be maintained in accordance with the approved
landscape plan.
5. Install an enclosure of sufficient size to house all trash
containers in an area approved by the f.ire department. Trash
enclosures to consist of a concrete floor surrounded by a
six foot high solid wall or fence with self-closing gates.
The applicant is notified as part of this application that he is
required to meet the fOllowing conditions in accordance with
Ordinances of the City of Campbell.
A. All parking and driveway areas to be developed in compliance
with Section 9319 of the Campbell Municipal Code.
a. Underground utilities to be provided as required by Section
9110.6 of the Campbell Municipal Code.
C. Plans submitted to the building department for plan check
shall indicate clearly the location of all connections for
underground utilities including water, sewer,electric,
telephone and television cables, etc.
D. Sign application to be submitted in accordance with provisions
of the sign ordinance for all signs. No sign to be installed
until application is approved and permit .issued by the
building department.
E. Shall meet building code requirements for group F-2 occupancy
in Fire Zone #2 and requirements Dor change of occupancy.
F. Applicant to pay storm drainage fee in the amount of $170.00.
G. Any change of occupancy or use shall require application and
approval of a use permit frior to such change or occupancy of
said building.
The applicant is notified that he shall comply with all applicable
Codes or Ordinances of theCity of Campbell whi~h pe~tain to this
development and are not herein specified.
