RESOLUTION NO. 9674
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN AN
AMMENDED CONTRACT FOR TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT SERVICES
ON THE SAN TOMAS EXPRESSWAY
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell desires the California Highway Patrol to
continue traffic enforcement services on that portion of the San Tomas Expressway which
passes through the City of Campbell; and
WHEREAS, the California Highway Patrol has agreed to provide such services
through contractual agreement; and
WHEREAS, the attached contract entitled "Second Amendment to Contract
Between the County of Santa Clara & Superior Court, and the Cities of Campbell,
Milpitas, San Jose, Santa Clara, and Sunnyvale for Traffic Enforcement Services on Santa
Clara County Expressways" changes the coverage period of the original contract,
substitutes names of newly appointed officials and deletes Capitol Expressway as a
covered roadway.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Campbell hereby approves said contract amendment and authorizes the Mayor to
execute the amendment on behalf of the City.
