RESOLUTION NO. 9665
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING AN EXTENSION TO THE CURRENT CONTRACT BETWEEN
DE VRIES DATA SYSTEMS AND THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell has entered into contract with DeVries Data
Systems to provide information technology services to the City, and
WHEREAS, the original agreement allows for amendments related to new or
enhanced services, and
WHEREAS, the FY 99/00 budget includes a $65,000 project to re-design the
City of Campbell's website, and the development services are not covered in the current
contract for information technology services with DeVries Data Systems, and
WHEREAS, DeVries Data Systems provides design and development services
as a core expertise having developed innovative commercial sites for customers like
carsdirect.com and eFilmstore.com, and is very familiar with the City's existing operations and
technology infrastructure.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that an amendment to the existing
contract between the City of Campbell and DeVries Data Systems be approved thereby
increasing the value of the contract by up to $25,000 to include design and development of the
City's website.
