RESOLUTION NO. 9659
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO NEGOTIATE AND
EXECUTE CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENTS WITH
C. DAVID ROBINSON ARCHITECTS FOR PHASE I DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE
CAMPBELL HERITAGE THEATRE RENOVATION PROJECT AND WITH
MOORE IACOFANO GOLTSMAN, INC. FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE
COMMUNITY CENTER MASTER PLAN UPDATE AND TO SELECT AND ENTER
INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH A CONSULTING FIRM FOR PREPARATION OF A
COMMUNITY CENTER PARKING AND TRAFFIC ANALYSIS AND
APPROVING A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT
WHEREAS, an extensive Request for Proposal (RFP) process was conducted 10
conjunction with the Campbell Heritage Theatre Renovation Project 00-02; and
WHEREAS, C. David Robinson Architects were found to be the best candidate for
completion of the design services for the Campbell Heritage Theatre Renovation Project 00-02;
and
WHEREAS, Moore lacofano Goltsman, Inc. has been identified as uniquely qualified
to complete the Community Center Master Plan Update; and
WHEREAS, additional parking and traffic engineering services are needed for the
completion of the Heritage Theatre Renovation Project and the Community Center Master Plan
Update;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby authorizes the Public Works Director to negotiate and execute Consultant
Services Agreements with C. David Robinson Architects for Phase I design services for the
Campbell Heritage Theatre Renovation Project in an amount not to exceed $210,000 and with
Moore lacofano Goltsman, Inc. for the preparation of the Community Center Master Plan
Update in an amount not to exceed $50,000.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby
authorizes the Public Works Director to negotiate and execute an agreement for professional
consulting services for preparation of a parking and traffic analysis of the Community Center
in an amount not to exceed $20,000, and approve the attached budget adjustment.
