A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING THE PURCHASE A POLICE DEPARTMENT
EVIDENCE TRAILER
WHEREAS, the Campbell Police Department has determined that there exists the need for a
trailer specifically used for the collection and storage of evidence; and
WHEREAS, funds to purchase such a trailer exist in the City of Campbell Capital
Improvement Plan (94-33) that were allocated for the outfitting of a Mobile Emergency Operations
Center; and
WHEREAS, Police Department staff will reevaluate the City's requirements for a modem,
state-of-the-art Mobile Emergency Operations Center; and
WHEREAS, Police Department staff will submit their findings for a new Mobile Emergency
Operations Center to the City Manager, with a request to have the information evaluated in the FY
2001/2001 Capital Improvement Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
approve the purchase of an evidence collection trailer for the use by the Police Department.
