RESOLUTION NO.. 10907
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
A~THORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO PURCHASE THE UNMARKED
POLICE SPECIAL ENFORCEMENT VEHICLE
WHEREAS, on February 18, 2008, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 10865
aRproving the specifications and call for bids for a Toyota Camry, not to exceed
$32,000; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director was authorized to award the contract for this
replacement vehicle to the lowest responsible bidder; and
WlHEREAS, though the bid was widely advertised and bid packages were mailed out to
nine prospective dealerships, no bids were received.
NPW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell
thflt the Public Works Director is authorized to directly solicit and obtain bids for the
purchase of the unmarked police special enforcement vehicle.
