RESOLUTION NO. 10916
A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING BIDS
FOR REPLACEMENT OF AN
INTERACTIVE VOICE RESPONSE SYSTEM
WHEREAS, replacement of one (1) Interactive Voice Response System is funded in the FY
2007/08 Machinery and Equipment Budget; and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell's Purchasing Policy requires if the equipment's estimated fair
market value is greater than twenty-five thousand dollars a formal bid process has to be used;
and
WHEREAS, the existing Interactive Voice Response System is no longer supported by the
manufacturer; and
WHEREAS, at least two suppliers have been identified that can provide an Interactive Voice
Response System which will integrate with the existing Accela TideMark Permitting System; and
WHEREAS, staff is requesting the purchase of one (1) Interactive Voice Response System not
to exceed $60,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council approve specifications and a call
for bids for one (1) Interactive Voice Response System not to exceed $60,000.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby authorizes the Finance Director to
award the contract for this replacement Interactive Voice Response System to the lowest
responsible bidder.
