A RESOLUTION OF THE C1TY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBEIIJ
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED CONVEYING
THE CITY'S INTEREST IN THE REALIGNED PORTION OF HAMILTON
AVENUE/STATE ROUTE 17 OFF-RAMP TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell and the State of California have entered into an
agreement, dated November 3,1987, for realignment of the State Route 17 northbound
off-ramp at Hamilton Avenue, and
WHEREAS, the agreement provides that the additional right-of-way necessary for
the realigned off-ramp be acquired by the City of Campbell and conveyed to the State of
California, and
WHEREAS, the additional necessary right-of-way was dedicated to the City of
Campbell for public use by Parcel Map and accepted by the City of Campbell in
July, 1988, and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell desires to convey its interest in the right-of-
way for the realigned off-ramp to the State of California,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby authorizes the Mayor to execute a Quitclaim Deed conveying the City
of Campbell's interest in the right-of-way for the realignment of the State Route 17
northbound off-ramp to the State of California.

FOR VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the CITY OF CAMPBELL
A municipal corporation of the County of Santa Clara, State of California does hereby REMISE, RELEASE
AND FOREVER QUITCLAIM TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, the real property in the City of Campbell,
County of Santa Clara, State of California, described as:
Parcel A, as Recorded in Book 589 of Maps, at Pages 12 and 13, Santa Clara County Records.
Said property contains 8,091 square feet, more or less, and is shown on the attached Exhibit A.
