line I:7:i an equal amunt and the ate in the back comer is made
farther off line.

nap has been added.
4. '!he ~ "Set tag # 9077" differentiates this fran the other
tags set, wdl bear the l1l~ of Alan Huntzi.rger, 18925. His
associate, John Cl~ has number 9077.
6. Setting a tag on a fence is one of three possible dloices for
IIDl'1l.lIDeIlt rear pt~:ty comers. 'lhe altematives are to call for a
pipe at the cmner or to call for a pipe offset sane distance away
fran the comer. None of these guarantee a stable, accurate ltDJ'lUIIe1'lt
that will survive over time. Pipes at the comer are subject to
destruction by a fencing oantractor. Qles that are offset also may be
destroyed am have the additional disadvantage that later they may
mistakenly be assumed to be set at the cmner. I don't like any of
the choices.

its surrournings appears to be one of those issues that you am I are
destined to revisit with noticeable regularity.
I believe this map is adequately tied to the survey to the north.
'!he northeasterly corner of this map is set by the recorded distance
am bearing fran the pipe fouOO at the northeasterly cmner of the
adjacent map. '!he recorded bearing am distarx::e of the UJUaIUlI
J:xJurmry is used to set the northerly line. Recorded distalx:es am
bearings of the two parcels being CX111Dined are then used to lay out

It's true that the southeasterly corner of the parcel thus layed out

the map to the south. '!hat's because recorded infonnation was used
to set the corners. '!be deeds for these ptopel.ties, necessarily, do
mt set the terminus of the boundaries by reference to that pipe.
'nle iron pipe foum at the rear corner of the northerly parcel being
combined would seem to set that spot with reasonable certainty.
