Dear Mr. Sirr:
Excavation for the installation of the proposed storm drain line
connection on Bascom Avenue for the Bascom Avenue Professional Center
has revealed that the existing main is ten inches lower than indicated
on the improvement plans.
R. ~. Taylor Company has therefore lowered the on-site facilities
correspondingly, and will lo\~er inverts ten inches throughout the
site and on the main up to the catch basin on Mozart Avenue.
On-site cover problems will therefore be eliminated and the cast iron
pipe indicated on Sheet 5 can be replaced with the same type of storm
drain pipe used on the rest of the job, provided a concrete cap be
placed on the last 100 feet of the two pipes originally shown as
cast iron pipe.
This letter is for your files and to confirm approval given by Tom
Peterson of your office on August 24.
