RESOLUTION NO. 9635
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE
AN AGREEMENT WITH OUR CITY FOREST FOR
ADMINISTRATION OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD STREET
TREE PLANTING PROGRAM
WHEREAS, on November 2, 1999 the City Council authorized the Public Works
Director to negotiate an agreement with Our City Forest for administration of the Neighborhood
Street Tree Planting Program; and
WHEREAS, on December 1, 1999 the Scope of Services was reviewed by the Parks and
Recreation Commission; and
WHEREAS, under the terms of the agreement Our City Forest proposes to provide tree
planting services, educational services, maintenance, long term maintenance and record keeping
for a period of four years; and
WHEREAS, the Neighborhood Street Tree Planting Program has been budgeted in the
1999/2000 Operating Budget and the Capital Improvement Program contains additional funding
in Fiscal Years 2000/2001 and 2001/2002;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby authorized the Public Works Director to execute an agreement with Our City Forest for
administration of the Neighborhood Street Tree Planting Program.
