RESOLUTION NO. 9624
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMPBELL, AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE
HUMANE SOCIETY'S ANIMAL SERVICES CONTRACT THAT
WILL BE EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2000 UNTIL JUNE 30, 2001
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell has previously authorized staff to enter
into negotiations for a one-year contract with the Humane Society for sheltering
and field services; and
WHEREAS, the West Valley Cities negotiated an agreement with the
Humane Society of Santa Clara Valley for sheltering and field services; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council authorizes
the City Manager to execute the agreement for sheltering and field services on
behalf of the City of Campbell as a member of the West Valley Cities and to
direct staff to incorporate the appropriate costs into the Fiscal Year 2000-2001
Budget.
