CC Resolution 9607 RESOLUTION NO. 9607 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING THE BUILDING DIVISION TO ISSUE NO-FEE PERMITS, AUTHORIZING REFUNDS OF FEES PAID, AND SETTING A NEW DEADLINE FOR CONVERSION OF EQUIPMENT WHEREAS, on January 20, 1998, the City Council authorized the formation of Underground Utility District No.8; and WHEREAS, on January 20, 1998 the City Council in the formation of Underground Utility District No. 8 set a deadline of March 31, 1999 when all affected properties had to be ready to accept underground service; and WHEREAS, of the ten properties that must convert panels, five have already applied for a permit and paid the necessary fees; and WHEREAS, this project was initiated by the City and it is appropriate to issue no-fee permits for this work; and WHEREAS, PG&E budgetary problems have delayed the project; and WHEREAS, PG&E has indicated they are ready to proceed with construction; and WHEREAS, the properties to receive service must be converted by April 15, 2000; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby authorizes the Building Division to issue no-fee permits for properties affected by Underground Utility District No.8. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby authorizes refunds of fees paid to date for properties affected by Underground Utility District NO.8. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby sets April 15, 2000, as the deadline for property owners to convert equipment to receive underground service in Underground Utility District NO.8.
