RESOLUTION NO. 10946
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR PUBLIC ART AND TO AMEND THE CONSULTANT DESIGN
CONTRACT FOR THE EAST CAMPBELL AVENUE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, an extensive Request for Qualifications (RFQ) process was
conducted for a public artist in conjunction with the East Campbell Avenue
Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, Madeline Wiener was found to be the best candidate for completion
of the public art component on East Campbell Avenue; and
WHEREAS, an amendment is needed to the DMJM Harris consultant design
contract to include the added streetscape design work and the addition of a landscape
architect to the design team;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby authorizes the Public Works Director to negotiate and execute a
contract for public art with Madeline Wiener in an amount not to exceed $51,750 and to
amend the DMJM Harris consultant design contract in an amount not to exceed
$60,000.
