RESOLUTION NO. 10951
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONSULTANT
CONTRACT WITH KAREN WARNER ASSOCIATES FOR THE PREPARATION OF
THE HOUSING ELEMENT UPDATE 2007-2014

WHEREAS, the City of Campbell is currently updating the City's Housing Element
which will be out of compliance with State law on June 30, 2009; and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell desires the services of a qualified consultant to
prepare a comprehensive update of the City's Housing Element; and
WHEREAS, an extensive Request for Qualifications (RFQ) process was conducted for
a qualified consultant to update the City of Campbell Housing Element in consistent
with the requirements and deadlines of State law; and
WHEREAS, Karen Warner Associates has proven to be well qualified and has the
required expertise and staffing to prepare the Housing Element.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Campbell
herby authorizes the City Manager to execute a consultant contract with Karen Warner
Associates for the Housing Element Update for an amount not to exceed $50,000.
