RESOLUTION NO. 10970
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING ISSUANCE OF A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR PROFESSIONAL
DESIGN SERVICES FOR DEVELOPMENT OF STOJANOVICH PARK AND
AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE A
CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the adopted FY 2009/13 Capital Improvement Plan included funding for
Stojanovich Park; and
WHEREAS, professional design services are required to prepare a conceptual park
design; and
WHEREAS, a request for proposals for the necessary services has been prepared
by staff; and
WHEREAS, the staff will review submitted proposals and conduct interviews to
determine the most qualified consultant to complete these design services; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director will negotiate a Consultant Services
Agreement in an amount not to exceed $80,000 and encumber an additional $10,000 as a
design contingency for a total not to exceed $90,000; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby approves the issuance of a request for proposals for professional design
services for Stojanovich Park and authorizes the Public Works Director to negotiate and
execute a Consultant Services Agreement in an amount not to exceed $80,000 and
encumber an additional $10,000 as a design contingency for a total amount not to exceed
$90,000.
