BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CAMPBELL ACCEPTING A $75,000 DOWNTOWN REBOUND
PLANNING GRANT FROM THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE THE GRANT CONTRACT
WHEREAS; On February 15, 2001, the City of Campbell Community Development Department
submitted a grant application to the State Department of Housing and Community Development
in response to a Notice of Funding Availability dated January 9, 2001; and
WHEREAS; The State of California Department of Housing and Community Development
awarded a $75,000 Downtown Rebound Planning Grant to the City of Campbell on October 10,
2003; and
WHEREAS; the City of Campbell does hereby accept the grant for the purposes outlined in the
Grant Contract No. 03-DRPGHP-36; and
WHEREAS; The Campbell City Council authorizes the City Manager, or his designee, to
execute the contract,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
accepts the $75,000 Downtown Rebound Planning Grant and authorizes the City Manager, or his
designee, to execute the grant contract.
