RESOLUTION NO. 10991
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE TOWN
OF LOS GA TOS TO PROVIDE COURT LIAISON SERVICES,
AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE FUTURE
AMENDMENTS AND TO AUTHORIZE STAFF TO INCORPORATE THE
PROGRAM'S ANNUAL REVENUE ESTIMATE INTO THE
APPROPRIATE FISCAL YEAR'S BUDGET.
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell has the ability to provide court liaison services to the
Town of Los Gatos; and,
WHEREAS, the Town of Los Gatos and the City of Campbell have agreed it is in both
agency's interest to enter into an AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE COURT LIAISON
SERVICES (hereinafter "Original Agreement"), in order to streamline services and
reduce costs for both entities related to the processing of criminal complaints, warrants,
subpoenas, and other related paperwork;
WHEREAS, the Town of Los Gatos and the City of Campbell may desire to continue
the Original Agreement and to modify its terms with respect to the future costs of
services provided upon mutual agreement of the City and Town Managers' extend the
term of the Original Agreement for each subsequent year of existence.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell
that the City Manager is hereby authorized to negotiate and execute the original
agreement to provide court liaison services, authorize the City Manager to execute
future minor amendments, and to authorize staff to incorporate the programs annual
revenue estimate into the appropriate fiscal year's budget.
