RESOLUTION NO.
11005
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL CONGRATULATING SONOMA CHICKEN COOP
ON BEING SELECTED '2008 BUSINESS OF THE YEAR'
WHEREAS, Sonoma Chicken Coop was selected by the Campbell Chamber of Commerce as
"2008 Business of the Year" and will be honored at the Chamber's annual Business of the Year
celebration on March 28, 2009; and
WHEREAS, for the past five years, Sonoma Chicken Coop has donated the beer for the
Campbell Museum Foundation's Summer Music Program; and
WHEREAS, Sonoma Chicken Coop has provided food donations to countless events, including
the Relay for Life and the Fun Run; and
WHEREAS, Sonoma Chicken Coop has provided gift cards for a vast number of fundraisers on a
regular basis; and
WHEREAS, Sonoma Chicken Coop has provided meeting rooms and also given discounts to
numerous non-profit groups; and
WHEREAS, Sonoma Chicken Coop has cooperated with schools and churches to aid in
fundraisers; and
WHEREAS, Sonoma Chicken Coop restaurant staff members have volunteered to assist non-
profit organizations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Campbell City Council congratulates Sonoma
Chicken Coop on being selected "2008 Business of the Year" and recognizes the many
contributions Sonoma Chicken Coop has made to the Campbell community.
