A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
ACCEPTING A DONATION TO THE VEHICLE MAINTENANCE AND
OPERATION OF EQUIPMENT FUND
WHEREAS, On July 1, 2003, Pete Yerkovich donated a 1952 Ford Truck
to the City of Campbell, and
WHEREAS, the donation of this truck to the museum as a parade vehicle
is an important addition to the museum's collection of historic vehicles, and
WHEREAS, Pete Yerkovich has agreed to make additional funds
available towards the repair and renovation of this vehicle; and
WHEREAS, Pete Yerkovich has donated a check in the amount of
$1,000.00. These funds will be used to reimburse the City for expenses related to
the repair of the vehicle. Funds received are restricted to the restoration of the
1952 Ford Pickup Truck; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Campbell hereby accepts the donation in the amount of $1,000.00. The
donation will be applied to the Vehicle Maintenance and Operation of Equipment
budget.
