PLANNING COMMISSION
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING THAT THE
CITY COUNCIL EXTEND THE PERIOD OF TIME FOR
COMPLETION OF EIR 86-01 (APPLICATION OF
MR FRED SAHADI) FOR PROPERTY KNOWN AS
675 E. CAMPBELL AVE.
After due consideration of evidence presented pertaining to the
request of Mr. Fred Sahadi for an extension of time to address
concerns expressed regarding an addition to the Campbell Inn,
located on property known as 657 E. Campbell Avenue, and being
considered under proceedings known as EIR 86-01 and PD 85-12;
and, in accordance with provisions of Section 21100.2 and 21151.5
of the California Public Resources Code, the Planning .Commission
hereby finds:
1. The complex nature of this project's impacts on
the environment warrants an extension of time to
allow for completion of an Environmental Impact
Report.
2. The applicant needs additional time to address
concerns raised by the Planning Commission, the
general public, and the Staff.
3. The applicant has requested, and is agreeable to,
an extension of time for completion of an
Environmental Impact Report.
Based on the above findings, the Planning Commission hereby
recommends that the City Council adopt a Resolution incorporating
the above findings and grant an extension of time for completion of
EIR 86-01 for nine months, August 14, 1987.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of October 1986 by the following
vote:
AYES: Commissioners: Dickson, Olszewski, Christ,
Stanton, Fairbanks, Kasolas
NOES: Commissioners: None
ABSENT: Commissioners: Perrine.
