PLANNING COMMISSION
~ BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING AMENDMENT TO THE
- LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN FROM LOW
DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO LOW-MEDIUM DENSITY
RESIDENTIAL FOR PROPERTY KNOWN AS 1075 HACIENDA
AVE. (APPLICATION OF biR. JOHN CARVALHO, GP 86-03.)
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on proposed
amendments to the Land Use Element of the General Plan, from Low Density
Residential (less than 4.5 units per gross acre) to Low-Medium Density
Residential (6-13 unit per gross acre) for property known as 1075 Hacienda
Ave.; and, after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents and
opponents, the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission
does find as follows:
1. The proposed Low-Medium Density Residential land use would not be
compatible with the existing single family development in the
immediate area.
2. The proposed changes would not be in the best interest of the
City of Campbell.
The Planning Commission does hereby adopt a Resolution recommending that
the City Council deny the applicant's requested amendment.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of September 1986 by the following roll
call vote:
AYES: Commissioners: Olszewski, Christ, Stanton, Fairbanks,
Dickson
NOES: Commissioners: None
ABSENT: Commissioners: Kasolas, Perrine
APPROVED: J. DuWayne Dickson
