PC Res 2409RESOLUTION N0. 2409 PLANNING COMMISSION BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL APPROVING A USE PERMIT -- TO ESTABLISH A PARAMEDIC STATION WITH A LIVING UNIT AND A PARAMEDIC VAN IN AN EXISTING BUILDING ON PROPERTY KNOWN. AS 145 DILLON AVE. IN A PD (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT/INDUSTRIAL) ZONING DISTRICT. (APPLICATION OF MR. AL FILICE, ON BEHALF OF MEDEVAC INC., UP 86-10.) After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the application of Mr. Al Filice, on behalf of Medevac, Inc., for a Use Permit to establish a paramedic station with a living unit and a paramedic van in an existing building on property known as 145 Dillon Ave. in a Pd (Planned Development/Industrial) Zoning District, as per the application filed in the Planning Department on July 2, 1986; and, after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed (UP 86-10). After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commision did find as follows: 1. That the establishment, maintenance, and operation of the proposed use will not be detrimental to the health., safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons. residing or working in the neighborhood of such use, or detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the neighborhood or the general welfare of the City. 2. The use has operated at this location for approximately one year without incident or complaint to the City. 3. The use permit shall be good for a period of one year from the date of City Council ratification. At the end of the one year period, the, Planning Commission shall hold a hearing to review the use. The Commission may extend the use or terminate it. 4. The use does not cause disturbances to residents because of the lack of residential structures in the immediate area. Based on the above findings, the Planning Commissioned does hereby grant the requested Use Permit., subject to the following conditions. 1. Use Permit to be valid for one year from date of City Council ratification. Prior to expiration of the one year period, the Planning Commission shall hold a hearing to review the use. The Commission may entend the use permit, or terminate it at that time. 2. Applicant to obtain any necessary permits from the Building Department for the conversion of the structure to a residential unit. RESOLUTION NO. 2409 UP 86-10 - 145 DILLON AVE PAGE 2. 3. Approval of this use permit does not approve the present site layout and buildings that exist on the property. The use permit only approves occupancy of that portion of the building as indicated on the plans submitted by the applicant. The parking spaces as shown on this plan do not conform to City code and may be eliminated by the installation of street improvements or at any time by the City. BUILDING DEPARTMENT POLICE DEPARTMENT No comments . The applicant is notified as part of this application that he is required to comply with all applicable Codes and/or Ordinances of the City of Campbell and the State of California which pertain to this development and are not herein specified.
