PC Res 2389RESOLUTION N0. 2389 PLANNING COMMISSION BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF TEXT AMENDMENTS TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL (TA 86-01). After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the proposed amendments to the text of Title 21 of the Campbell Municipal Code; and, after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed. After due consideration of all evidence presented the Planning Commission did find as follows: 1. That there is a significant need to amend Title 21 of the Campbell Municipal Code. 2. That the proposed amendment to Title 21 will make the Zoning Ordinance consistent with existing City Council policies. 3. That the establishment and enforcement of Title 21 as amended will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons residing or working in the neighborhood of such use, or detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the neighborhood or the general welfare of the City. The Planning Department does hereby recommend that the City Council adopt the Ordinance attached hereto enacting the necessary legislation to make the proposed text amendments effective. CITY OF CAMPBELL, CALIFORNIA BEING AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL AMENDING TEXT AMENDMENTS TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE (TITLE 21) OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL (TA 86-01). The City Council of the City of Campbell does ordain as follows: SECTION ONE: That Title 21 of the Campbell Municipal Code be amended as set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto. SECTION TWO: This Ordinance shall become effective 30 days following its passage and adoption and shall be published once within 15 days upon passage and adoption in the San Jose Mercury News, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Campbell, County of Santa Clara.
