PC Res 2359RESOLUTION N0. 2359 CITY OF CAMPBELL, CALIFORNIA BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING AMENDMENTS TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTITAL TO LOW-MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL FOR PROPERTY KNOWN AS 1164-1178 SMITH AVE. (GP 85-02). After notification and public hearing as specified by law on proposed City-initiated amendments to the Land Use Element Element of the General Plan from Low Density Residential to Low-Piedium Density Residential (6-13 units per gross acre) for property known as 1164-1178 Smith Ave. , and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed. After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission does find as follows: 1. The proposed Low-Medium Density Residential land use would be compatible with the existing development. 2. The proposed changes are in the best interest of the City of Campbell. The Planning Commission does hereby adopt a Resolution recommending that the City Council adopt the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit A, making effective the proposed amendments. PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 22nd day of October, 1985 by the following roll call vote: AYES: Commissioners: Kasolas, Perrine, Olszewski, Toshach NOES: Commissioners: Christ, Dickson, Fairbanks ABSENT: Commissioners: None. BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL, CALIFORNIA (GP 85-02 , APPLICATION OF MR ALAN PINK ). The City Council of the City of Campbell does ordain as follows: SECTION ONE: That the Land Use Element of the General Plan of the City of Campbell together with amendments thereto, is hereby changed and amended. Said amendments being outlined on the map attached hereto entitled Exhibit A. SECTION TWO: This following its passage fifteen (15 ) days upon a newspaper of general Santa Clara.
