PC Res 2346RESOLUTION N0. 2346
PLANNING COMMISSION
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING APPROVAL
OF PLANS, ELEVATIONS, DEVELOPMENT SCHEDULE AND
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF
A WAREHOUSE/INDUSTRIAL BUILDING ON PROPERTY KNOWN
AS 146 DILLON AVE. (APPLICATION OF KIRK ENTERPRISES,
PD 85-08).
Plans, elevations and development schedule for the construction of a
warehouse/industrial building to be located on property known as 146 Dillon
Ave. in a PD (Planned Development/Industrial) Zoning District have been
presented for approval by Kirk Enterprises. After notification and public
hearing as specified by law on said proposed amendments, as filed in the
Planning Department on June 27, 1985, and after presentation by the Planning
Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission did
find as follows
1. That the establishment, maintenance, and operation of the proposed use
will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals,
comfort or general welfare of the persons residing or working in the
neighborhood of such use, or be detrimental or in3urious to property
and improvements in the neighborhood or the general welfare
of the City.
2. That the proposed development is consistent with the General Plan
designation of "Industrial".
3. That the plans demonstrate that the proposed development will result
in a more desirable environments and use of land than would be
possible under another zoning classification.
4. That the proposed development will improve the area.
Based on the above findings, the Planning Commission did recommend approval of
plans, elevations, development schedule, and conditions of approval as
presented, and further recommends that the City Council enact the Ordinance
attached hereto as Exhibit A, adopting said plans, elevations, development
schedule and conditions of approval for that portion of the above-mentioned
Planned Development Zoning District.
