PC Res 2335RESOLUTION NO. 2335 PLANNING COMMISSION BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF A CHANGE TO THE ZONING MAP AS SHOWN IN EXHIBIT A (APPLICATION OF MR. JERE LAGUISA, ZC 85-02). After notification and public hearing as specified by law on proposed amendments to the Zoning Map of the City of Campbell and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the Planning Commission did determine that the change as shown in Exhibit A, attached, should not be made to the Zoning Map, based on the following findings: 1. The°proposed zone change from R-M-S (Multiple Family/ Low-Medium Density Residential) to PD (Planned Development) would be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort and general welfare of the persons residing or working in the neighborhood of such zone change or be detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the neighborhood or the general welfare of the City. 2. A motion for approval of ZC 85-02 failed with a vote of 2-3-2 (with Commissioners Kasolas and Perrine voting "yes", and Commissioners Christ, Olszewski and Fairbanks voting "no", and Commissioners Toshach and Dickson being absent). The Planning Commission of the City of Campbell recommends that the City Council deny the requested zone change which would allow the construction of 7 townhomes on the subject property. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of May 1985 by way of the vote as indicated above. APPROVED: JoAnn Fairbanks Chairman ATTEST: Arthur A. Kee Secretary
