PLANNING COMMISSION
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the
application of Ms. Myunk Sik Lee for a use permit to allow the
establishment of an oriental-style billiards room on property known
as 2079 S. Bascom Ave. in an +C-2-S (General Commercial) Zoning
District, as per application filed in the Office of the Planning
Department on March 11, 1985, and after presentation, proponents and
opponents, the hearing was closed (UP 85-03).
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Commission did
find as follows:
That the establishment, maintenance, and operation of the
proposed use will not be detrimental to the health, safety,
peace, morals, comfort, or general welfare of persons
residing or working in the neighborhood of such use, or
be detrimental or injurious to the property and improve-
ments in the neighborhood or the general welfare of the~'City.
Based on the above findings, the Planning Commission does hereby
grant the requested use permit, subject to the conditions attached
hereto as Exhibit A.
The applicant is notified as part of this application that he/she is
required to comply with all applicable Codes and/or Ordinances of the
___ City of Campbell and the State of California which pertain to this
development and are not herein specified.

1. Use to comply with Chapter 5.28 of the Campbell Municipal Code.
2. Use is limited to 6 oriental style billiard tables. Change to
standard American-style billiards room will require an amendment to
the use permit.
3. No alcoholic beverages shall be served or consumed in the billiards
hall, or outside the billiards hall.
4. All windows and doors in the building shall be kept shut at all times.
5. No amplified music is allowed.
6. No food shall be served on the premises.
7. Hours of operation shall be from 12:00 noon to 12:00 midnight.
8. Customers must be 18 years and over.
9. If this use is not established and a business license obtained within
three months of the date of approval, the use permit shall be void.
10. Use permit to be reviewed by the Planning Commission in six months
from the date that the use is established. '
11. Applicant to obtain all necessary permits from the Police, Fire, and
Building Departments.
