PC Res 2292RESOLUTION NO. 2292 BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF PLANS, ELEVATIONS, DEVELOPMENT SCHEDULE AND CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL FOR A PROPOSED OFFICE BUILDING ON PROPERTIES KNOWN AS 481 CARLYN AVENUE AND 310 W. HAMILTON AVENUE (APPLICATION OF MR. LARRY LARGENT ZC 84-04/PD 84-04). After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the application of D'1r. Larry Largent for approval of plans, elevations, development schedule, and conditions of approval for an office building on properties lmown~cas~~4.81 Carlyn Avenue and 310 W. Hamilton Avenue, as per the application filed in the Planning Department on August 13, 1984, and after presentation by the Plarming Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed. After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission did find as follows: 1. That the proposed construction of a two-story office building would not be compatible with the existing uses in the immediate residential neighborhood. 2. That the proposed parking ratio is insufficient for the proposed development due to the number of designated compact spaces and reserved spaces. 3. That the proposed development would be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons residing or working in the neighborhood; or be detrimental or injurious to pro- perty and improvements in the neighborhood or the general welfare of the City. The Planning Commission of the City of Campbell recommends that the City Council deny this application, based on the above findings.
