PLANNING COMMISSION
CITY OF CAMPBELL, CALIFORNIA
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the application
of P9s. Brigitte Schneider for a use permit to allow on-sale beer and wine in
a restaurant on property known as 384 E. Campbell Ave., in a PD (Planned
Development/Commercial) Zoning District, as per the application filed in the
Office of the Planning Department on April 11, 1984 and after presentation by
the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed (UP 84-OS).
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Crnrmission did find as
follows:
That the establishment, maintenance, and operation of the proposed
use will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals,
comfort or general welfare of the persons residing or working in
the neighborhood of such use, or be detrimental or injurious to
property and improvements in the neighborhood or the general
welfare of the City.
Based on the above findings, the Planning Commission does hereby grant the
requested use permit subject to conditions as listed below:
FIRE DEPARTNIDV'T
1. Two exits shall be required if seating exceeds 50 persons.
2. Exit doors shall swing in direction of egress and be equipped
with panic hardware.
3. Commercial cooking equipment shall have an automatic fire pro-
tection system.
4. Provide 2A:lOBC fire extinguishers in dining area and 40BC
extinguisher in kitchen.
5. Submit floor plan to Fire Department and obtain permit to
operate.
The applicant is notified as part of this application that he is required to
comply with all applicable Codes or Ordinances of the City of Campbell and
the State of California which pertain to this development and are not herein
specified.
USE PERMIT SHALL NOT BECOME EFFECTIVE UNTIL RATIFIED BY THE CITY OOUNCIL.
