PLANNING COMMISSION
CITY OF CAMPBELL, CALIFORNIA
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the
application of William and Judy Noyes for a variance to reduce the sideyard
setback of an existing house from 5 feet to 1.7 feet and to reduce the
front yard setback of an existing carport from 25 feet to 8 feet on pro-
perty kno~m as 1035 Hazel Avenue in an R-1 (Single Family Residential).
Zoning District, as per the application filed in the office of the Planning
Director on March 29, 1984, and after presentation by the Planning Director,
the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Commission
did find as follows:
1. The property is not unique and can be used without this variance.
2. The hardship is not unusual and applies equally to other lots.
3. The particular hardship claimed by applicant was self-imposed.
The Planning Commission does hereby deny the variance as requested.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of April 1984 by the following roll
call vote:
