RESOLUTION N0. 2266
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A
CHANGE TO THE ZONING MAP AS SHOWN IN EXHIBIT "A"
(APPLICATION OF MR. MICHAEL SOUTAS, HPB 84-01).
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on proposed
amendments to the Zoning Map of the City of Campbell and after pre-
sentation by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the
Planning Commission did determine that the change as shown in Exhibit "A",
attached, should be made to the Zoning Map based on the following findings:
1. The proposed zone change is consistent with the Land Use
Element of the General Plan which shows "Planned Develop-
ment/Low-hfedium Density Residential and/or Office" for
the subject property.
Z. The proposed zone change from Planned Development/Low-
A3edium Density Residential and/or Office to Planned De-
velopment/Historic Overlay would allow the designation
of this property as an historic landmark.
3. The proposed zone change will not be detrimental to the
health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare
of the persons residing or working in the neighborhood
of such zone change or be detrimental or injurious to
property and improvements in the neighborhood or the general
welfare of the City.
4. The proposed zone change is consistent with the historic
preservation ordinance and the City's General Plan.
The Planning Commission of the City of Campbell recommends that the
City Council enact the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A" making
effective the recommended changes to the Zoning Map.
