PC Res 2201RESOLUTION N0. 2201 BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF CITY-INITIATED AMENDMENT TO LAND USE ELEMENT OF GENERAL PLAN FROM L0W-DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO INDUSTRIAL FOR PORTIONS OF PROPERTY KNOWN AS 580 & 660 McGLINCEY LANE (GP 83-08) . After notification and public hearing as specified by law on proposed City- initiated amendments to the Land Use Element of the General Plan from Ipw Density Residential to Industrial for portio~.s of properties known as 580 ~ 660 McGlincey Lane, and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed. After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission does find as follows: 1. The proposed Industrial land use would be compatible with the existing development. 2. The proposed changes are not in the best interest of the City of Campbell. The Planning Commission does hereby adopt a resolution recommending that the City Council deny the proposed general ~hlan amendment.
