BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING OOMMISSION RECOMMENDING
DENIAL OF PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE GENERAL PLAN FROM L019
DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO INDUSTRIAL FOR A PORTION OF PROPERTY
KNOWN AS 700 McGLINCEY LANE (GP 83-OS).
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on proposed City-
initiated amendments to the Land Use Element of the General Plan from Low
Density Residential to Industrial for a portion of property known as 700
McGlincey Lane, and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents
and opponents, the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission
does find as follows:
1. The proposed Industrial land use would not be compatible
with the existing development.
2. The proposed changes are not in the best interest of the
City of Campbell.
The Planning Coirnnission does hereby recommend that the City Council deny this
General Plan Amendment proposal.
